Galactic Gorch is a simple space shoot-em-up where you blast aliens. Once you've blasted enough of them, you move to the next level and blast more, slightly faster aliens. Each different alien has a unique movement pattern, which helps the game to be less repetitive. There is background midi-sounding music and sound effects, however the whole game seems to pause for a moment whenever you hit an alien, which really interrupts the flow of the game. Otherwise it's perfectly fine but doesn't have a lot of depth.
